Using a site like tinyurl.com can be a priceless tool. It can free up a few characters when linking sites in Twitter.com (follow me on twitter) or Facebook.com (my facebook site). This is the best way to link any type of site that you are trying to share on your Social Networking websites as mentioned above. I know, I know you are probably thinking “If I use a service like this and it shortens my URL, won’t that hurt me in search engine rankings?” Not at all.
